Terms of Use

These terms are between you and EHLLO LTD (“EHLLO LTD”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 17434728, and govern your use of ehllo. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them. If you're using ehllo on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

The service

ehllo is a product operated by EHLLO LTD. It helps you share your card, keep a record of the people you meet and the events you go to, capture meetings (by recording them, typing notes, or bringing in calls from Granola), remember what matters about people, and follow up. Some features are AI-assisted: summaries and suggested follow-ups from a meeting, answers from Ask ehllo, talking with ehllo out loud, and drafted messages. You review and approve AI-generated content before it is saved, sent or acted on.

Your account

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you add and for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use ehllo. ehllo is not for children, and we will close an account we learn belongs to someone younger.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms.
• You're responsible for having a lawful basis (such as consent or legitimate interest, where required) to record notes about, and follow up with, the people you capture.
• Recording. Before you record a conversation with ehllo you must tell everyone taking part and have their agreement. ehllo asks you to confirm that each time you start a recording, and you are responsible for that confirmation being true. Some places require everyone's consent by law.
• Only enter your own details in the form on someone else's card, and only add people to a meeting using details you are entitled to use.

Connected accounts (Google, Microsoft)

If you connect a Google or Microsoft account, Granola, or your phone's calendar, you authorize ehllo to act within the specific permissions you grant: reading calendar events, including who is invited, to suggest and link events; creating and updating only the calendar events ehllo makes; creating files only within an app-scoped folder; and reading your Granola meetings. ehllo does not send email from your account; a drafted message opens in your own email app for you to send. You can revoke this access at any time from Settings, and doing so stops ehllo from making further requests to that account. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is used.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ehllo to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or harassing messages.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Use the service in a way that violates applicable law, including data protection law.
• Share content that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, or that impersonates someone else, on your card or anywhere else in ehllo.

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report a person or block them from their page in the app. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.

AI-generated content

Summaries, follow-up drafts, and event suggestions are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You're responsible for reviewing this content before relying on it or sending it to someone else.

Copyright and takedown

Only add photos, recordings and other material you have the right to use. If you believe something on ehllo infringes your copyright, email product@ehllo.io with: the work you say is infringed; where it appears on ehllo (a link or a description we can find it by); your name and contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that the notice is accurate and that you own the copyright or are authorised to act for the owner. We will remove or disable material we find infringing, tell the person who added it, and close the accounts of repeat infringers. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our notice and tell us why.

Subscriptions and AI credits

ehllo is free to use. The features that use AI run on credits. Every account is given a starter allowance once, and ehllo Plus is an optional subscription that adds a monthly one. What each action costs is set out on our pricing page.

• Who bills you. Plus is sold and billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, through the store account you buy it with. Payment, tax, receipts and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms, and we never receive your card details.
• Renewal and cancellation. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, which you do in your Google Play or App Store account rather than here. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: Plus, and the credits that come with it, run to the end of that period.
• What a credit is. A credit is a unit for using ehllo's AI features. Most actions cost a set number of credits; recording a conversation and talking with ehllo out loud are charged for each minute started, as the pricing page sets out. A credit is not money, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and is not redeemable for anything other than use of the product.
• How long credits last. A monthly allowance is granted for that month and expires at the end of it. Credits do not carry over: a renewal replaces the allowance rather than adding to what is left. Starter credits are granted once per account and do not expire.
• Failed work. A credit is charged when the work produces something you can use. If a request fails, the credit returns to your balance, and retrying the same request is the same charge rather than a new one.
• Refunds and chargebacks. If a payment is refunded, reversed or withdrawn by the store, the subscription and the entitlement that came with it end. Credits already granted for that payment may be withdrawn with it.
• Changes. We may change what an action costs, or what a plan includes, for future periods. We will say so in the app before a change takes effect, and a price change is handled by the store under its own consent rules. A period you have already paid for keeps the terms it was sold under.
• Fair use. Credits are for your own use of ehllo. Reselling access, sharing an account to pool an allowance, or automating requests at a scale a person could not make are grounds for suspending the account under Acceptable use above.

Running out of credits does not lock you out of ehllo. Your people, meetings, notes, follow-ups, card and reminders stay available and free, on any plan.

Your content

What you add to ehllo stays yours. You give EHLLO LTD permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run ehllo for you and the people you choose to share with, including sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. Content ehllo's AI generates for you (a summary, a suggested follow-up, a drafted message) is yours to use, subject to the section on AI-generated content above.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of business, profit or opportunity, or for anything caused by relying on AI-generated content you did not review. Our total liability to you in any year is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for ehllo in the previous twelve months and £100.

If you got ehllo from the App Store

• These terms are between you and EHLLO LTD, not Apple. EHLLO LTD, not Apple, is responsible for ehllo and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for ehllo.
• If ehllo fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for ehllo.
• EHLLO LTD, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about ehllo, including product liability, failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection, and claims that ehllo infringes someone's intellectual property.
• You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ehllo changes. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page, and tell you in the app or by email before a change that materially affects you takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using ehllo and delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there, and if you live elsewhere you keep any protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer.

Service availability

ehllo is provided “as is” while we build and improve it. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change or discontinue features. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes that affect your data.

Termination

You can stop using ehllo and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
